Overview
Brasada Ranch is an 1,800-acre resort and residential community on the high-desert plateau of Powell Butte, at more than 3,000 feet. The land operated as a cattle ranch before development began in the mid-2000s, and the resort opened to guests in 2007. The master plan allows up to 750 home sites, and the community was the first Oregon resort to earn LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Nine hundred of the 1,800 acres are set aside as permanent open space, with trails for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use. Accommodations include Sage Canyon cabins, Cascade bungalows, and Ranch House suites. Membership and resort-guest access extends to the Brasada Canyons 18-hole golf course, Spa Brasada, indoor and outdoor pools, and two on-site restaurants.
