The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $195,000 in March, up 4% from March 2011. 189 sold, 25 more than March 2011. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 42 days. At the end of March, 492 were for sale against 888 sales over the past six months: 3.3 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K ran as a seller's market, while $400K to $500K gave buyers more room.
