Tumalo State Park sits on the banks of the Deschutes River just northwest of Bend, with a riverfront day-use area shaded by large ponderosa pines, junipers, and alders. A wading area and a 2.4-mile segment of the Deschutes River Trail make it a popular spot for camping and a day on the water.
