The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $179,900 in January, up 6% from January 2011. 123 sold, 11 fewer than January 2011. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 47 days. At the end of January, 569 were for sale against 872 sales over the past six months: 3.9 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K ran as a seller's market, while $400K to $500K gave buyers more room.
