Bend: 130 sales at a median of $195,000 (−6% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 27 days. Redmond: 44 sales at a median of $120,000 (−14% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 43 days.
The median home sold for $165,000 in July 2011, against a range of $138,900 to $260,000 since August 2008.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $195,000 in July, down 6% from July 2010. 130 sold, 17 fewer than July 2010. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 27 days. At the end of July, 745 were for sale against 880 sales over the past six months: 5.1 months of supply, a balanced market by our measure (above 4 and under 6 months is balanced). By price the market splits: Under $400K ran as a seller's market, while $400K to $500K gave buyers more room.
