Bend: 164 sales at a median of $187,500 (−6% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 63 days. Redmond: 57 sales at a median of $110,000 (−14% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 28 days.
The median home sold for $150,500 in March 2011, against a range of $138,900 to $299,628 since April 2008.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $187,500 in March, down 6% from March 2010. 164 sold, 13 more than March 2010. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 63 days. At the end of March, 578 were for sale against 878 sales over the past six months: 3.9 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K ran as a seller's market, while $400K to $500K gave buyers more room.
