Riley Ranch is a 184-acre nature reserve on Bend's northwest edge, with 3.2 miles of loop trail dropping toward the Deschutes canyon. Dogs and bikes are not allowed anywhere in it, which keeps it calm, and the newer northwest neighborhoods sit right at its gate.
