Bend: 169 sales at a median of $720,000 (−3% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 21 days. Redmond: 63 sales at a median of $499,000 (−4% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 28 days.
The median home sold for $625,000 in August 2024, against a range of $523,500 to $658,330 since September 2021.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $720,000 in August, down 3% from August 2023. 169 sold, 16 fewer than August 2023. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 21 days. At the end of August, 472 were for sale against 935 sales over the past six months: 3.0 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: $400K to $500K, $500K to $600K, $600K to $750K, $750K to $1M and $1M to $1.4M ran as a seller's market, while $2M to $3M gave buyers more room.
