Bend: 221 sales at a median of $418,500 (+10% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 19 days. Redmond: 82 sales at a median of $288,038 (+11% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 29 days.
The median home sold for $365,000 in September 2017, against a range of $255,000 to $370,000 since October 2014.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $418,500 in September, up 10% from September 2016. 221 sold, 26 fewer than September 2016. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 19 days. At the end of September, 585 were for sale against 1,482 sales over the past six months: 2.4 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K, $400K to $500K, $500K to $600K and $600K to $750K ran as a seller's market, while $1M to $1.4M gave buyers more room.
