Bend: 250 sales at a median of $311,850 (+12% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 21 days. Redmond: 78 sales at a median of $200,975 (+12% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 24 days.
The median home sold for $270,500 in July 2014, against a range of $149,250 to $270,500 since August 2011.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $311,850 in July, up 12% from July 2013. 250 sold, 34 more than July 2013. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 21 days. At the end of July, 692 were for sale against 1,221 sales over the past six months: 3.4 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K and $400K to $500K ran as a seller's market, while $600K to $750K gave buyers more room.
