Bend: 204 sales at a median of $290,000 (+13% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 21 days. Redmond: 65 sales at a median of $188,000 (+5% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 28 days.
The median home sold for $254,000 in May 2014, against a range of $149,000 to $257,514 since June 2011.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $290,000 in May, up 13% from May 2013. 204 sold, 58 fewer than May 2013. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 21 days. At the end of May, 592 were for sale against 982 sales over the past six months: 3.6 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K and $400K to $500K ran as a seller's market, while $500K to $600K and $600K to $750K gave buyers more room.
