Bend: 262 sales at a median of $255,750 (+11% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 13 days. Redmond: 60 sales at a median of $179,250 (+43% from a year earlier), and the typical home went under contract in 12 days.
The median home sold for $234,000 in May 2013, against a range of $138,900 to $234,950 since June 2010.

The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $255,750 in May, up 11% from May 2012. 262 sold, 79 more than May 2012. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 13 days. At the end of May, 484 were for sale against 1,022 sales over the past six months: 2.8 months of supply, a seller's market by our measure (4 months or less is a seller's market). By price the market splits: Under $400K and $400K to $500K ran as a seller's market, while $500K to $600K and $600K to $750K gave buyers more room.
