The median single-family home on less than an acre in Bend sold for $197,200 in October, down 10% from October 2009. 162 sold, 30 fewer than October 2009. Homes that sold went under contract in a median of 41 days. At the end of October, 731 were for sale against 929 sales over the past six months: 4.7 months of supply, a balanced market by our measure (above 4 and under 6 months is balanced). By price the market splits: Under $400K ran as a seller's market, while $400K to $500K gave buyers more room.
