I spent over 19 years with La Pine Fire, working in a job where the work is the work. You show up, you make decisions under pressure, and you do not get to leave until the job is done. I bring that same standard into real estate at Ryan Realty.

I live in the Redmond area, and I have spent two decades watching Central Oregon grow. Redmond, La Pine, Tumalo, Powell Butte, Crooked River Ranch, south Deschutes County. These are not just MLS area codes to me. I have driven the back roads, met the contractors, and seen which neighborhoods hold value through every market cycle.

What I specialize in

Rural properties and acreage. Land, well, septic, easements, water rights, agricultural zoning. The questions city buyers do not know to ask are the ones that determine whether a rural property works for you.
Family homes in the Redmond and south Deschutes County areas. School boundaries, commute math, family-friendly subdivisions, lot size trade-offs.
First-time buyers. The first home purchase is heavier than the dollar value implies. I walk through every step so you understand what you are signing.
Relocation buyers from out of state. Video walk-throughs, contractor coordination, neighborhood selection conversations.

Family and community

My wife and I have been married for 27 years and we have five kids. We have spent over a decade raising 4-H pigs on our small property. The kids learned hard work, responsibility, and what it means to take care of land that takes care of you. That experience shapes how I think about rural properties for buyers.

When I am not working, I am outdoors. Hiking, camping, adventuring with family and friends. Central Oregon is where I chose to plant my family, and it is where I help my clients plant theirs.
